FAQS

Frequently asked questions

Can’t see your question? Give us a call – we’re happy to help.

It depends on the age of your property, the room size, number of windows, insulation and the style of the room. We’ll measure up and advise at every step.
Yes! We can install a ‘twin wall’ system so your new stove can safely take smoke out of your home. You may need planning permission, so check with your local council.
Typically one to three days from start to finish. A simple install can take as little as six to eight hours. Extra work such as internal brickwork, hearths or removing an old stove can add time – we’ll include it in your quote.
No. Gas liners can’t withstand the high temperatures of a solid fuel stove, so we’d remove the gas liner and replace it with a solid fuel liner.
Wood burners have a flat fuel bed because wood burns best on a bed of ash with air from above. Multi-fuel stoves have a grate because coal and smokeless fuels burn with air coming from beneath.
